This is the only passenger train of Mexico.

The Chihuahua authorities just accepted to mention us in their official list of hotels of the city

We are starting our third year, and we have seen our numbers consistantly growing up


Future value of the hostel

- The USA are investing more and more in Chihuahua (Ford bringing new car plants,
Boeing and Airbus building cables. A flow of new large companies is forecast for 2009
If highly paid strategists of such a conservative company as Ford are choosing Chihuahua,
than that must be a good place.

- The Mexican governement starts a national campaign in Europe promoting the train and the copper canyon
Due to humerous hurricanes in the South, Mexico wants to diversify the foreign currency
income and thus wants to invest heavily in the North, of which Chihuahua state is one of
the only touristic options

- Creel is going to belong to the "pueblo magico" of Mexico, thus attracting more tourists.
While competition is fierce in Creel, we have none in Chihuahua, and people going to Creel
have to go through Chihuahua anyway, which is a much more comfortable place where to live.

- The city is working on a touristic corridor from the city center to the Sagrado Corazon church
which is 1 minute from us

- While the hotel capacity is huge in Creel, in Chihuahua the capacity is still low as basic hotels
are not well maintained, and their international customers are now coming to us

- Best of all, we will appear in the new version of the Lonely Planet as they already visited us

We are starting to see customers who visited us at the very beginning coming back to Chihuahua
and to us, which pleases us enormously.

We priced our hostel at market value for a quick sale, neither less, nor more. We do not like to play games.

Paperwork
We can provide to your notary for a double-check :
- Full and clear title, to the name of my wife and I, with public registry stamp at the back
- Uso de suelo (permit for commercial use of the land)
- non-adeuda (no mortgages backed by the hostel property)
- Water, electricity, taxes, everything is obviously paid.


Chihuahua is a 500 years-old city and does not bring all the trouble of unclear titles
in brand new touristic resorts popping out of the blue. Our piece of land is well known by
all notaries, and real estate transactions are lightning fast. It is ok for foreigners
to purchase land in Chihuahua. If you are a foreigner though, you do need an authorization
from the ministry of foreign affairs, but if you are not a criminal, the paper will take about
8 working days to be issued as that should be the largest delay-maker.

I am a foreigner myself (French) and had to go through all this process when I purchased this property.
Of course, we would take the notary of your choice so that you can protect your interests.
